The KEPKA Thermo Premium is a heavy-duty convection chamber furnace designed for industrial thermal processes in which controlled heat transfer by convection must dominate both the initial and final stages of the process.

The furnace is available in three temperature variants: 250°C, 420°C and 720°C, covering a wide spectrum of industrial applications requiring stable, repeatable and precisely controlled heating.

At the core of the KEPKA Thermo Premium furnace is a turbulent, dynamic airflow system, representing a significant technological advantage over conventional convection furnaces available on the market.

The system is based on KEPKA’s proprietary thermo-circulation motors and specially designed rotors, engineered to generate high-energy airflow that is evenly distributed throughout the entire chamber volume.
This turbulent convection ensures:

  • uniform heat transfer to all products,
  • elimination of temperature stratification and dead zones,
  • stable thermal conditions during both highly dynamic and long, gentle heating cycles,
  • excellent repeatability over extended production periods.

Two Independently Controlled
Heating Sections with Extended Durability

The KEPKA Thermo Premium furnace is equipped with two independently controlled heating sections, typically located on the left and right walls of the chamber. These heating sections are engineered as industrial-grade unitsand structurally designed to withstand continuous operation at temperatures up to 1300°C, even though the furnace itself operates within defined temperature classes.

This extended design margin guarantees long-term, failure-free operation, even during very long process cycles and many years of industrial use. The heating elements do not develop local overheating points, melting zones or degradation areas, which are common failure modes in conventional convection furnaces subjected to prolonged thermal loads.

Each heating element is built on high-purity aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) ceramic cores, providing exceptional electrical insulation, thermal stability and mechanical strength. The active heating surface is maximally distributed across each heating section, covering the entire wall area assigned to that zone. This ensures even heat generation and supports uniform airflow heating without concentrated hot spots.

Air is driven through the heating sections under elevated pressure, uniformly heated across the full surface of the elements and precisely controlled by thermocouples positioned at the airflow outlet. The stabilized, heated air then enters the working chamber and directly transfers thermal energy to the product surface with high precision and repeatability.

This configuration ensures accurate temperature control, eliminates the risk of local product overheating and provides exceptional process stability for both rapid ramp-up cycles and long, steady thermal treatments.

Advanced Proces Control
with TC707 and Wi-Fi Connectivity

The KEPKA Thermo Premium furnace is controlled by the TC707 dual-zone controller, enabling independent management of both heating sections.
The controller supports:

  • fully programmable thermal recipes,
  • precise two-zone temperature control,
  • optional process analysis and performance reporting.

Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity allows remote monitoring and supervision of the furnace operation. After completion of each thermal cycle, process reports are generated automatically and sent via e-mail, supporting documentation, traceability and quality assurance requirements.

Heavy-Duty Industrial Construction

The furnace is engineered as a long-life industrial device, designed for continuous operation in demanding production environments.

The entire inner chamber is manufactured from stainless steel or acid-resistant steel, while selected structural components are made from heat-resistant steels, depending on the temperature variant.

The furnace is equipped with a safety limit switch with a mechanical safety key, ensuring safe operation during door opening.

The KEPKA Thermo Precision+ is an advanced industrial convection chamber furnace, designed for applications requiring maximum process control, enhanced safety and extended automation capabilities.

This model builds on all core advantages of the Thermo Premium version and extends them with KEPKA proprietary PLC-based control, Siemens HMI operator interface and a significantly expanded safety and monitoring architecture.

The furnace is available in temperature variants of 250°C, 420°C and 720°C, covering a broad range of demanding industrial thermal processes.

Dynamic Turbulent Airflow for Precision Thermal Processing

As with all KEPKA Thermo systems, the Precision+ model is based on dynamic, turbulent convection airflow, generated by KEPKA’s proprietary thermo-circulation motors and rotors.

This airflow architecture ensures highly uniform heat transfer, elimination of temperature stratification and stable thermal conditions across the entire chamber volume.

The system performs equally well during fast dynamic heating cycles and long, stable thermal treatments, making it suitable for processes where temperature precision and repeatability are critical.



Multi-Section Heating with Independent Control

The KEPKA Thermo Precision+ furnace is equipped as standard with two independently controlled heating sections, typically located on the left and right sides of the chamber.
In larger configurations, the system can be expanded to up to four heating sections, providing even finer control of temperature distribution for large or complex loads.
Each heating section is controlled independently through solid-state power regulation, ensuring:

  • low surface power density,
  • elimination of local overheating,
  • stable and uniform airflow heating.

As in the Premium model, heating elements are built on high-purity Al₂O₃ ceramic cores, structurally designed for continuous operation at temperatures up to 1300°C, guaranteeing long-term, failure-free performance even during extended industrial use.

PLC-Based Control with Siemens HMI

A key differentiator of the Precision+ model is its advanced PLC-based control system, developed by KEPKA and operated via a Siemens touchscreen HMI.
This platform provides a high level of transparency, control and flexibility for complex thermal processes.

  • multi-level user access (operator, technologist, maintenance, service),
  • full visualization of process curves and zone temperatures,
  • complete process history and event logging,
  • advanced recipe management for complex thermal profiles,
  • online parameter adjustment during an active process cycle.

Enhanced Safety Systems
and Overheat Protection

The KEPKA Thermo Precision+ furnace incorporates an expanded safety architecture designed to protect both the product and the equipment.

An independent Overheat Protect system continuously monitors chamber temperatures via dedicated thermocouples.

If any heating section exceeds its defined safety threshold, power to the affected heating circuit is immediately disconnected through a dedicated safety contactor. This ensures immediate response to abnormal thermal conditions and provides an additional layer of protection beyond standard control limits.

The system is further enhanced with acoustic and visual signaling, using integrated signal towers to clearly indicate process states, alarms and operator actions.

Pneumatically Operated
Vertical Door System

In the Precision+ model, the furnace door is lifted vertically upward, providing safe and ergonomic access to the chamber.

Door movement is controlled via pneumatic actuators, ensuring smooth, controlled opening and closing under PLC supervision.

This solution improves operator safety, reduces mechanical strain and allows precise synchronization of door operation with the thermal process.

Remote Operator
Stand and Service Accessibility

The operator panel, including the Siemens HMI and safety controls, is mounted on a dedicated freestanding control stand, which can be positioned up to 3 meters away from the furnace.
This allows flexible workstation arrangement and improved operator comfort.
All electrical, pneumatic and control components are integrated into the rear or side sections of the furnace, providing easy access for maintenance and service operations.
