The KEPKA Glass & Fusing Premium furnace is a professional-grade solution designed for demanding glass and fusing applications, where temperature uniformity, process repeatability and mechanical durability are critical. The Premium version is based on a fixed working table combined with a top-opening heated hood, supported by a reinforced lifting system. Opening and closing of the hood is assisted by gas springs, ensuring smooth, controlled movement, while an additional mechanical safety lock protects the operator against accidental closing during loading and unloading. This design significantly improves ergonomics and operational safety, especially when handling large or heavy glass elements.

Top-Heating Concept
with Quartz-Protected Heating Elements

In the Premium model, all heating elements are located in the upper section of the chamber, directly above the processed glass. The elements are installed inside high-purity quartz tubes, ensuring exceptional cleanliness of the heating environment and highly efficient heat transfer to the product.

A key advantage of this solution is the ability to deliver uniform and gentle heating already at lower temperature ranges. During the heating-up phase, the elements emit a controlled portion of infrared radiation, which supports even temperature distribution across the glass surface. This results in highly uniform heating, minimizes thermal gradients and significantly reduces the risk of stress, distortion or uneven fusion.

This configuration makes the furnace ideal for:

Low Thermal Mass Working Table
for Uniform Heating

The lower working table is constructed from pressed high-density fibrous insulation materials with exceptional mechanical strength and thermal performance. This material provides excellent insulation while maintaining very low thermal mass, which is a critical feature in glass processing.

Low heat accumulation in the table means that thermal energy is not absorbed by the insulation beneath the glass. As a result, heat loss through the bottom surface is minimized, allowing the glass to heat uniformly through its entire cross-section. This prevents uneven temperature profiles and supports stable, repeatable results during fusing, bending and annealing cycles.

Advanced Process Control
with TC95 Controller

The Premium furnace is equipped with the TC95 process controller, offering advanced control capabilities in a compact, intuitive interface. The controller features a high-resolution 2.8” graphic display, allowing clear visualization of temperature curves, ramps and process stages.

Key capabilities include:

  • up to 20 programs with 20 segments each,
  • precise execution of complex firing curves,
  • color-coded temperature display for immediate deviation recognition.

The cntroller is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling remote monitoring of the firing process as well as remote start and stop of programs. After completion of each firing cycle, process reports are generated automatically and sent via e-mail, providing full documentation and traceability of the firing process.

The working table in the KEPKA Glass & Fusing Premium furnace is designed as a perfectly flat surface, allowing extremely precise placement of glass elements before firing. This flat geometry ensures that the load can be arranged accurately and remains fully supported across its entire surface during the heating cycle.
Unlike shaped or uneven supports, the flat table does not introduce mechanical stresses, distortions or contact marks on the glass. It prevents the formation of surface defects such as imprints, pressure points or unwanted marks, often referred to as scars or print-through effects.
As a result, glass sheets, decorative elements and fusing assemblies retain their intended geometry and surface quality throughout the process. This is especially important in applications requiring high visual quality, optical consistency and dimensional precision.

Quartz-Protected Top Heating
for Uniform Thermal Transfer

All heating elements are located in the upper section of the chamber and installed inside high-purity quartz tubes. This solution guarantees a clean heating environment and enables uniform heat transfer from the very lowest temperature ranges.

During the heating phase, the elements emit a controlled portion of infrared radiation, supporting gentle and even warming of the glass surface. This minimizes thermal gradients, reduces internal stress and significantly lowers the risk of distortion or uneven fusion — especially important in fusing and bending processes.

In configurations with increased chamber height, additional heating elements are installed along the two longer side walls, further improving temperature uniformity for large or tall glass assemblies.

Mobile Flat Working Table
for Large-Format Glass

The defining upgrade of the Premium+ Motion model is the mobile working table mounted on heavy-duty wheels. The table can be moved completely away from the heating chamber, providing unobstructed access to the full working surface during loading.

This design greatly facilitates the arrangement of large glass panels, glass doors and complex multi-layer assemblies, where precise positioning is essential. Operators gain better visibility, improved ergonomics and safer handling conditions, especially when working with oversized or heavy elements.
The working table remains perfectly flat, ensuring accurate placement of the glass without introducing any deformation, stress points or surface marks. This prevents unwanted imprints, scars or distortions during firing. Once loading is complete, the table is precisely repositioned under the heating hood, guaranteeing repeatable alignment and process consistency.


Low Thermal Mass Table for Even Heating

and Remote Connectivity

Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity enables remote monitoring of the firing process as well as remote start and stop of programs. Process data and firing reports are generated automatically and can be reviewed for documentation and quality control purposes.

Independent Overheat Protection System

In addition to standard safety features, the Premium+ Motion furnace includes an independent overheat protection system. This system uses a dedicated safety contactor connected to thermocouples installed inside the chamber.

Fully Lifting Heating Chamber
with Mobile Loading Trolley

A defining feature of the Premium+ Motion UP model is its fully lifting heating chamber, which can be raised and lowered automatically. This design provides complete and unrestricted access to the working area, significantly improving ergonomics and safety during loading and unloading of large glass elements.

The furnace is equipped with a mobile loading trolley, which can be moved completely out of the heating zone. Depending on the selected configuration and rail layout, the trolley can travel forward or backward, offering full flexibility in workshop integration and material flow design.

This solution is particularly advantageous when processing very large glass components, such as curved architectural glass, refrigerated display case glass, large decorative panels or complex bent glass assemblies.

Multi-Zone Heating Architecture for Maximum Process Control

The Premium+ Motion UP furnace features a minimum of three independently controlled heating zones as standard. Heating elements are located in the upper section and along the two longest side walls, ensuring excellent temperature uniformity even in tall chambers.

Depending on the application and chamber size, the system can be configured with:

  • three-zone heating architecture,
  • extended five-side heating (top, long sides, short sides),
  • optional heated working table, further improving thermal uniformity and process flexibility.

This multi-zone structure allows intentional temperature differentiation between zones. Through advanced recipe control, operators can define temperature offsets of up to ±50°C between the top, left or right heating sections. This capability is essential for very demanding applications, where controlled, non-uniform heating is required to achieve specific bending behavior or material response.




Advanced PLC Control with 7” HMI and Dedicated Software

Unlike the Premium and Premium+ Motion versions, the Premium+ Motion UP model is controlled by an industrial PLC system with a 7-inch touchscreen HMI (Human Machine Interface). The control system is powered by dedicated KEPKA-developed software, designed specifically for advanced glass processing.

Key features of the PLC + HMI system include:

  • full visualization of temperature curves and multi-zone profiles,
  • real-time process monitoring and trend recording,
  • multiple access levels (operator, technologist, maintenance, service),
  • automatic event and alarm logging,
  • ability to adjust selected process parameters online, during an active firing cycle.

This level of control enables precise fine-tuning of complex processes and supports full traceability and documentation.

Integrated Overheat Protection
and Safety Architecture

The Premium+ Motion UP furnace is equipped with an independent overheat protection system (Overheat Protect). This safety system consists of a dedicated safety contactor coupled with thermocouples installed inside the heating chamber.

If any heating zone exceeds the defined setpoint by a safety threshold, power to the affected heating circuit is immediately disconnected. This provides an additional layer of protection for both the processed glass and the furnace, ensuring safe operation even in unexpected process conditions.
Combined with automated chamber movement and ergonomic loading solutions, the system delivers a very high level of operational safety.


Designed for Large and High Chambers

The Premium+ Motion UP model is particularly well suited for high chambers with large internal volumes, making it ideal for bending tall or deeply curved glass elements. These furnaces are commonly applied in:
