KEPKA is a company built on continuity — of craftsmanship, engineering discipline and responsibility for every degree of temperature that shapes the materials of tomorrow. Our story began in the early 1990s, long before we delivered advanced tunnel furnaces or integrated thermal-process lines. It started with ceramics: with the need to fire our own materials at a level of precision that no equipment on the market could offer.
Operating our ceramic and technical ceramic production facility — today known as Manufaktura Chodzieska — we quickly learned that achieving consistent quality required something more than standard kilns. When no suitable solution could be found, Dariusz Kępka designed and built the first furnaces himself. What began as equipment for our internal needs became the foundation for a future engineering company. Clients noticed their reliability, and demand for specialized thermal systems began to grow far beyond ceramics.
This organic evolution led KEPKA into the world of industrial furnaces, kilns and thermal systems. As new technologies emerged across Europe — in automotive, aerospace, composites, EV batteries, defense, and advanced materials — so did the need for equipment capable of precise, stable and scalable thermal control. Our capabilities expanded from ceramic kilns to tunnel furnaces, chamber furnaces, thermo-convection systems, debinding–sintering units, IR and microwave hybrids, coating and post-curing lines, in-line cutting and chilling modules. Today, over 7000 custom thermal systems designed by KEPKA operate in global industries.
Despite this growth, our essence remains unchanged. KEPKA is powered by a young, dynamic team of engineers, supported by decades of practical experience.

Today, KEPKA is led by Mikołaj Kępka, who represents the next generation of engineering leadership. His vision elevates the company from a furnace manufacturer to a provider of comprehensive thermal-process solutions, integrating mechanical design, automation, simulation and full-process engineering.
